Minto firefighters responded to a call earlier today and called in some help from Hanover to provide an aerial truck to reach the top of the two-storey home. Howick firefighters also assisted.
Damage was minor.
Howick Fire Chief Shawn Edwards says it's a reminder to check and clean your chimney regularly.
