One person is dead after being struck by a tractor trailer in the Town of Minto.
Thursday around 5:00 p.m., OPP officers, EMS, and firefighters responded to the crash on Wellington Road 6 near 6th Line in Minto.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. No name has been released until next of kin have been notified.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
Wellington Road 6 was closed between 6th Line and 8th Line for the OPP investigation.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
