Minto Mayor George Bridge says the town’s 2016 capital budget which was reviewed this week, is coming along nicely with what he calls “reasonable” expectations from department heads.
The $7.4-million capital budget is directed mainly towards infrastructure such as roads and sewers.
Some of the projects depend on being successful in getting federal/provincial government grants.
Minto council has already reviewed the proposed operating budget.
Council will continue with some fine-tuning, leading up to a public meeting in March.
