The Southgate mayor had no luck in getting more information posted on the municipality's web site regarding a pair of subdivision proposals for Dundalk.
Anna Marie Fosbrooke felt the public should be better informed on what to expect from the new development.
But other councillors disagreed, saying the additional information is premature.
Councillor Dale Pallister said that releasing more information too early only adds to public confusion, and increases the chances of the development in Dundalk being mis-represented.
