Jeff Thomson clinched a playoff spot in the Brokerlink Insurance Grey Bruce Major Curling League with a 7-2 win over AJ Schumaker at the Chesley Curling Club.
Also, Don Bartley downed Craig Millburn 7-3 to stay within a game of Al Hutchinson for first place in the league.
Hutchinson edged Wade Walsh 9-7 at the Paisley Curling Club. Steve Gregg defeated Mike Hammer 8-5 to stay in playoff contention.
Three of the eight playoff spots in the league are undecided heading into the final week next week.
