Ideal Supply Announces Pledge to United Way Perth Huron

A Listowel-based company has made a huge financial commitment to the United Way of Perth Huron.

Ideal Supply Company has announced a pledge of $15,000 annual for three years.  That's in addition to $2,040 raised from its employees.

The money will help fund a new mental health and addictions program, as well as other services supported by United Way in North Perth.

The pledge helps move United Way toward an ambitious goal of $135,000.   The volunteer group has raised more than $72,000 in just a few months, moving past the half-way mark.

Tim MacDonald, CEO of Ideal Supply stated, "We are long-standing supporters of United Way Perth-Huron. When they asked if we could help launch a new service for North Perth, it was an easy decision."

Andrew Williams, chair of the Perth Huron Campaign, commented "This gift is a major milestone, not only for this year but for years to come. With our new 3-year goal of raising 4 million dollars for the entire region, Ideal Supply is setting a great example for how others can roll up their sleeves and get things done."
