A house fire in Fergus Monday afternoon sent one woman to hospital.
The Centre Wellington Fire Rescue Department responded to the fire on Union Street shortly after 4:00 p.m.
A 65-year-old woman was found in the home and rushed to hospital by Guelph-Wellington EMS. She is reported in serious condition.
The Wellington County OPP Crime Unit, OPP Forensic Identification Services along with the Office of the Fire Marshal are investigating the cause of the fire.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
