Round Robin Play Wraps Up at the Canadian Juniors

Both Manitoba and British Columbia remain undefeated at the 2016 Canadian Junior Men Curling Championship through the round robin.
Quebec and Ontario are tied for second place at 4-2 in Pool A while in Pool B Northern Ontario is in second at 5-1. New Brunswick is in third in Pool B at 4-2.

The top three teams in each pool now advance to the Championship Round for a four game partial round robin starting today.  Two teams with the next best won-loss record also get a shot at the Championship Round.

The other six teams will play in the Seeding Round which will determine the ranking for the 2017 Canadian Juniors in Victoria.

In the Canadian Junior Women Curling Championship, only British Columbia remains undefeated at 6-0. They are followed in Pool B by Nova Scotia at 5-1 and Saskatchewan at 4-2.

New Brunswick and Manitoba are tied for first in Pool A at 5-1. Alberta and Quebec follow at 4-2. Team Ontario just makes it to the Championship Round with a 3-3 record.

Play resumes today for both men and women at the Stratford Rotary Complex.
