Some much colder temperatures will slide through the region through the middle of the month.
After a milder weekend, the temperature could spike as high as 6 C on Wednesday and then drop off from there.
Highs will stay below zero through the end of the week and by the middle of February temperatures will range between minus 6 and minus 12. Those temperatures are at the lower end of the historical average that is tracked over 30 years.
We could also see some more snow with upwards of 10 cm expected for the weekend.
