A Bluewater councillor wants the Municipality of Bluewater to record and monitor complaints about health-related issues from wind turbines.
Hay Ward's John Gillespie says he's received complaints from residents of the ward who live close to turbines. He believes the municipality should keep track of similar complaints.
Gillespie says by recording the complaints over time it could be determined if they're coming from a significant number of people in an area of Bluewater or are just a few isolated incidents.
Gillespie adds the information should also be passed on to the Health Unit, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the wind energy companies and the local MP and MPP.
