A longtime Councillor and former Mayor of Wellington North has died.
Michael "Mike" John Broomhead passed away at his Mount Forest home on Friday, February 5th, 2016.
Broomhead spent 21 years in office as a Councillor and 7 years as Mayor of Wellington North.
He also served on County Council , the Wellington North Power Board and numerous other committees throughout his career.
He was 66 years old.
Visitation will take place at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South in Mount Forest on Thursday February 11th, 2016 from 2pm - 4pm and again from 7pm - 9pm.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, February 12th at the First Baptist Church, 116 Fergus Street North in Mount Forest.
