Drivers will need to be patient today because it's going to take a while for plows and snow removal equipment to get roads, parking lots and sidewalks cleared safely.

Most of Midwestern Ontario did get the 20 cm that was predicted -- and in many areas, much more than that.

Major routes are snow covered, snow packed and slippery today, with drifted sections.  Secondary roads are snow covered, heavily drifted, and the snow is still very deep in places.

Visibility is reduced because of blowing snow, although the wind is lighter than yesterday.

Light snow is still falling along the lakeshore.

A band of heavy snow is expected to drop another 5-10 cm in an area from Goderich, south to Forest, and east toward London, Middlesex and Oxford counties.
