Hawks Sweep the Spitfires

The Exeter Hawks swept their second round SOJHL playoff series with a 4-1 win over Aylmer.

The Hawks jumped out to an early two goal lead in the first and held the Spitfires scoreless until the third.

The Hawks were led by Christian Petrozza and Liam Melady who had a goal and an assist. Chase Thornton and Austin Carter also scored for Exeter.

Trevor Fleming made 43 saves to earn the the win. Andrew Harriman-Duke stopped 37 shots for the Spitfires.

Exeter will now face Dorchester in the SOJHL Championship Final. The Dolphins swept Mount Brydges in four games in their second round series.
