Organizers of Meaford’s 2016 Earth Week celebrations are hoping to receive wish lists from residents before 5pm this Friday.
Meaford Supervisor of Recreation Programs and Events Amber Knott says it is a list of goods you or other members of your family no longer need, but don’t want to throw out.
This year’s Re-Use and Eco Fair will be held between 9am and 3pm Saturday, April 23 at Meaford and St. Vincent Community Centre.
The Re-Use and Eco-Fair during Earth Week in Meaford is an organized exchange of gently-used items circulating in the community.
Local charities, artisans groups, schools and faith-based groups are looking for toys, tools, stationery, office equipment, household appliances and much more.
Anyone wanting to donate items to the Eco Fair may download a Wish List form at www.meaford.ca/earthweek .
Completed forms can be dropped off at the Meaford Hall box office or by emailing the form to lindy2004@sympatico.ca.
By submitting the form by Friday afternoon, you allow organizers to publish the wish lists to the community.
