Serious Injuries To Stratford Man In Two-Vehicle Crash

A Stratford man remains in hospital with serious injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash in the city late Tuesday afternoon.

Stratford police say a 2015 Nissan was traveling north on Erie St. S, when it crossed several lanes of traffic and hit an oncoming transport truck that had just turned onto Erie St.

The 33-year-old driver of the car was treated in Stratford General Hospital before being airlifted to a hospital in London.

A man from Innerkip who was driving the truck was not hurt.

Damage to both vehicles was extensive.

Stratford police say their investigation is continuing, and charges are pending.
