North Huron is hosting a one-day job fair Wednesday.
It's at the North Huron Wescast Community Complex, and runs from noon to 5:00 p.m.
Companies taking part represent a number of different industries, including manufacturing, agriculture, and health care. Job seekers are encouraged to bring resumes highlighting their skills.
The job fair is being organized in collaboration with The Centre for Employment and Learning, Conestoga Career Centre, The County of Huron’s Economic Development Services, and the Township of North Huron.
According to North Huron Economic Development Officer Connie Goodall, "While completing the recent Economic Development Strategic Plan, some area employers identified recruitment for existing job opportunities as a priority. This job fair will assist businesses in the area fill their employment needs."
