Bluewater council has directed staff to continue working with the Hensall Kinsmen on a skateboard park for the village.
Mayor Tyler Hessel explains a delegation from the Kinsmen had approached council for support and direction and council suggested staff continue their work with the Kinsmen.
The first objective is to decide on a location for the skate park before anything else is done.
"At this point we've given direction to have them continue to work with staff in the near future and then come back with a staff report with regards to where they'd like to put it and any suff that we can help them with, in regards to having economic development and grant funding," says Hessel.
The direction by Council was in response to a delegation brought before Council from the local Kinsmen Club.
