Minto Mayor George Bridge, is the chair of the Wellington County Economic Development BoardMinto Mayor George Bridge has thrown his hat in the ring for a seat on the board of directors of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
His bid has been endorsed by Wellington County, where he is currently serving as warden.
The federation addresses federal issues such as broadband internet, rail transportation and social housing.
Bridge’s term as warden ends in December.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
