Kyle O'Brien scored the overtime winner as the Brooklin Merchants topped the Owen Sound North Stars 8-7 yesterday in Senior B Lacrosse.
Dan Kean and Scott Derancesco each scored twice and assisted on two more for the North Stars.
The North Stars Ryan Oldrieve stopped 41 shots. John Chesebrough made 37 saves for the Merchants.
Owen Sound began the weekend with an 11-4 loss to the league leading Six Nations Rivermen.
With the pair of losses, the North Stars drop from second place to third at 5-4.
