It's full speed ahead to double the size of Grey County's administration building in Owen Sound.
County council has selected the contractor and work on the addition is expected to start this summer.
Devlan Construction Limited submitted the lowest bid of 10.6 million dollars which is within the project's budget.
The addition will go on the west side of the current facility.
Warden Al Barfoot says adding on is the best way to go.
"There is economics to show that that's the most feasible way to move forward so I think County Council made the right decision to move ahead with this," says Barfoot.
The addition will be financed from Grey County's reserves. Construction is expected to take about 18 months.
