Goderich Mayor Kevin Morrison (Photo by Bob Montgomery)The Ontario Ombudsman is investigating a complaint against an ad hoc committee of the Board of Management Recreational Services for the town of Goderich.
The complaint alleges the committee held meetings that did not comply with the open meeting rules of the Municipal Act.
Mayor Kevin Morrison confirms council has been advised the investigation is about to begin.
Morrison says he welcomes the investigation but did not comment further because of the investigation.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
