An arrest has been made after a Huron area woman was sexually assaulted Saturday night.
At around 6:30pm, the woman was using the MacNaughton-Morrison Trail, which lies between MacNaughton Park in Exeter and the Morrison Dam Conservation Area on Morrison Line, when she was grabbed from behind and sexually assaulted. The male culprit fled on a bicycle towards Exeter.
Later, Huron County OPP arrested a 19-year-old suspect. The investigation is ongoing, but 19-year-old Mitchell Webster of Exeter is facing two charges of failing to comply with conditions of a probation order.
He has been released from custody and will appear in Goderich Court on July 4.
