Zach Thompson scored three times and assisted on two more to lead Owen Sound to an 11-6 victory over Oakville in Senior B Lacrosse.
The North Stars got two goals from Todd Greer and also got goals from Drew Barfoot, Miller Rusbridge, Scott Derancesco, Rob Kloepfer, Travis Szabolcs and Dan Keane.
Tyler Glebe stopped 33 shots for the win. Craig Wende faced 48 shots in the loss.
The North Stars are in third place in the standings at 7-7-0. They are 10 points back of the league leading Six Nations Rivermen.
