PWU Donates To Wingham Hospital Capital Project

The Power Workers' Union is the latest to donate to the redevelopment project at the Wingham and District Hospital.

The Bruce Site Equity Committee of the Power Workers Union has pledged $25,000 to the 'Our Hospital, Our Future' campaign.

PWU member and Wingham native Luke Lockridge championed the Hospital project because he feels the upgrades being done to the Hospital exemplifies the values of the PWU Charity Trust.

The Our Hospital, Our Future campaign has raised an estimated 90 per cent of the $4 million goal for the expansion and replacement projects at the Wingham hospital.

Members of the PWU met with Campaign Chair Mark Foxton at the Wingham and District Hospital to present their $25,000 campaign contribution.

Foxton thanked both Lockridge and Larry Alderice PWU Bruce Chair for the Equity Committee for their generosity and for recognizing the widespread benefit of the Hospital to everyone who lives and works in the area surrounding the Hospital.
