Five more players were named to the Hometown Heroes Roster.

There is one week to go before the 3rd Annual Hometown Heroes "Raise a Little Health" charity hockey game takes to the ice at the Maitland Rec Centre in Goderich.

Organizer and Huron Bruce MP Ben Lobb announced the latest additions to the roster in a release yesterday. They are:

Jake Ringuette, Goderich native and defensemen for Lakehead University; Michael Johnstone, from Goderich who is a forward for DEC Frillensee/Inzell in Germany; Keigan Goetz from New Hamburg who is a right winger for the Barrie Colts; Goderich native and Listowel Cyclones forward Jamie Huber; and PJ Conlon from Goderich who is captain and forward with the Victoria Grizzlies.

The "Raise at Little Health" charity hockey game is Thursday, July 21st in Goderich at the Maitland Recreation Centre. The puck drops on 7 p.m. and Lobb says the goal is to raise $50,000 for three local organizations: the Goderich-Huron YMCA's Strong Kids; Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health; and Alexandra Marine and General Hospital.

You can get tickets by calling Ben Lobb's constituency offices in Goderich and Port Elgin, Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health in Seaforth, the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Gift Shop and the Goderich-Huron YMCA.
