Teen Ejected, Survives Crash East Of Exeter

A teenager suffered non-life threatening injuries after being ejected from a pick-up truck in a crash east of Exeter.

The crash happened Sunday morning shortly before 5:00am near the hamlet of Woodham.

Police say a westbound truck on Line 6 went off the road and hit a tree. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. The passenger, also a teen, was wearing a seat belt. Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The driver from South Huron is charged with careless driving and for not wearing a seat belt.

The driver and the passenger were also charged with “person under 19 years having liquor”.
