A 40-year-old Zorra Township is dead following a crash near Mitchell.
The OPP says Jeffery McRobert lost his life in the collision Tuesday afternoon on the border of Perth and Huron counties.
Huron and Perth OPP, paramedics and Granton fire fighters attended the scene on Perth Road 164 just north of Woodham.
Police say a float tractor trailer heading north on Road 164 stopped for a traffic signal for a construction zone, when a Ford Econoline van rear ended the vehicle.
McRobert was the lone occupant in the van.
