Two more Grey County municipalities issued Burn Bans today.
A fire ban is in effect for West Grey until further notice. All issued Burn Permits are cancelled.
The West Grey Fire Ban does not include campfires contained in a pit or tire rim, or other device which is designated to burn fire wood for cooking and warmth and does not exceed 61 centimeters, or 24 inches, in diameter. The Township of Georgian Bluffs also issued a ban on open air fires within the Township due to the extremely dry conditions.
The ban applies to all open air fires in the Township of Georgian Bluffs, including area campgrounds.
