The CAO for the Town of Goderich says the demolition of the horse barns at the Agricultural Park could start by the end of the month.
Council heard at its last meeting that only one bid was received for the demolition and that was for $28,000.
McCabe says the demolition involves some paint that contains lead so that will increase the cost but he believes the bid is reasonable but it will be reviewed by the town's Director of Operations and the engineer.
McCabe says if its determined that the bid is reasonable the work could start within a couple of weeks.
