The CAO for Goderich will be involved in a discussion on the shared economy at the AMO Conference in Windsor this week.
Larry McCabe sits on a committee that's attempting to come up with regulations for the concept that is similar to Uber, but applies to just about anything that people might be interested in using.
McCabe explains the provincial government is interested in stimulating the market for a shared economy but at the same time wants to make sure it's properly regulated.
McCabe says it ranges from renting out homes and cottages, to cooking food at home and selling that, or even selling items people may have in their freezer.
