The Western Ontario Warden's Caucus is moving ahead with a plan to grow the economy.
Economic Development Committee Chair George Bridge says they will focus on the issues and solutions with the biggest impact on growth.
"We can't be in our own little shoe box. We have to look beside that box and work together. And I think that's why I was really excited about this project, because I think all 15 counties talked about that. And I think that's a big improvement from years ago, when we used to always be separate and looking at our own ways to do things," says Bridge.
A draft three year strategic action plan will be introduced at the Wardens' Caucus later this year.
Bridge says they have chosen Lauren Millier and MDB Insight to work with key economic development representatives in each jurisdiction.
Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne met with he Western Wardens last year suggesting the region speak as a single voice on economic issues.
