The Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich will soon have a new CEO and president.
The hospital's Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Bruce Quigley to the position.
Quigley is coming to Goderich from Nova Scotia and has spent the last 15 years as CEO of the Cumberland Health Authority in northern Nova Scotia. He also has experience as CEO of Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, and as a regional director with the Nova Scotia Department of Health in Halifax.
Bruce Quigley's first day on the job in Goderich will be September 21.
"It is both an honour and privilege for me to be appointed to this leadership position at AMGH," says Quigley. "These are exciting times in the evolution of health care delivery in Ontario. I look forward to becoming part of the AMGH team and contributing to the Organization's continuing position as a health care services leader in Huron County."
