A West Grey man has been arrested after police responded to a weapons call at a residence.
West Grey Police Service responded to a home on Allen Park Road around 2:45 Sunday morning. OPP officers were called in to assist after police received a report that a weapon had been fired inside the residence.
The West Region Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, the Tactics and Rescue Unit, and the OPP Critical Incident Unit were on the scene a short time later. Hanover Police Service also assisted.
Allan Park Road was closed from Grey Road 4 to Concession 2 as officers surrounded and contained the area near the home.
The OPP says at around 8:03 am the incident was resolved peacefully.
A 32-year-old West Grey man has been arrested, and an investigation continues.
