Lauchlin Elder extended the Hawks' lead with goal at 4:30. Jordan Caskenette scored shorthanded at 7:48 of the opening frame to put the Hawks up 4-0.
Elder scored his second goal of the game to open the second period. Keegan Martinec and Conner Patton assisted Elder for the second time during the game.
