Listowel 4 Waterloo 3 (OT)
The Listowel Cyclones held on to remain unbeaten in the GOJHL this season and beat the Waterloo Siskins 4-3 in overtime.
Tommy Hoogars scored the winning goal unassisted just under a minute and a half into the extra frame.
Waterloo's Ryan Sparkes had the tying goal when the Siskins pulled their goalie in the final minute of the game to put an extra man on the ice. It was Sparkes second goal of the game for Waterloo.
The Siskins were up 2-0 heading into the third when Blake Nichol put the Cyclones on the board with a power play goal just over two minutes into the final frame. Chayse Herrfort scored a little under seven minutes later and Brady Anderson made it a tie game with just under two minutes left on the clock.
Justin Hergott stopped 45 shots in net for the Cyclones. Waterloo's Liam Devine made 24 saves.
The Cyclones are 9-0 to start the season.
Elmira 3 Kitchener 1
Jacob Black scored the game winner and Ethan Skinner added insurance as the Elmira Sugar Kings topped the Kitchener Dutchmen 3-1.
Kitchener outshot the Sugar Kings 38-23. Jonathan Reinhart stopped 37 shots for Elmira.
Anthony Azzano and Jake Brown eached picked up two points with two assists for the Sugar Kings.
Chatham 7 St. Marys 1
Chatham led 3-0 after the first and didn't look back as the Maroons downed the St. Marys Lincolns 7-1.
Austin Thompson scored four of the Maroons goals and added an assist.
Chad Heffernan was the lone scorer for the Lincolns.
St. Marys is in last place in the GOJHL's Western Conference at 2-6.
