Hanover 10 Goderich 4
Justin D Graham scored twice and assisted on two more to lead the Hanover Barons over the Goderich Flyers 10-4. Brodie LeMay also had a pair of goals and one assists for the Barons.
Jarrett Kuntz was the only one to score in the first period when he put the Barons up 1-0. In the second, both teams got on the board with the Flyers scoring twice and Hanover putting the puck in the net four times.
Goderich would manage two more in the third but it was not nearly enough to bridge the gap. Hanover scored another five goals.
Tyler Stacey led the Flyers with two goals and one assist. Branden Bean and Nathan Watson shared goal tending duties. Bean stopped 19 shots over two periods while Watson allowed the five goals in the third.
Cody Van der Heide made 28 saves for the Barons.
Mitchell 6 Mount Forest 2
The Mitchell Hawks got goals from six different players en route to a 6-2 win over Mount Forest.
Blake Pickering scored and assisted on two more. Chace Duckworth scored and had one assist in the win.
Goderich was led by Riley O'Connell who had two goals.
The Hawks out shot the Patriots 33-20. Graeme Lauersen earned the win with 18 saves for Mitchell.
