Bracco Leads the Rangers over the Storm

Jeremy Bracco scored a hat trick and assisted on two more as the Kitchener Rangers doubled Guelph 8-4.

Dylan Di Perna had four assists for the Rangers. Connor Bunnaman had two of the Rangers goals.

Guelph opened the scoring just two minutes into the game with a goal by Luke Burghardt. Adam Mascherin answered for the Rangers less than two minutes later. Bunnaman scored his first goal of the game at 8:42 of the opening frame and Bracco had his first goal at 12:05. Darby Llewellyn put the Rangers of 4-1 with just a minute left in the period.

Bunnaman scored what would stand as the game winner just 47 seconds into the second period. Ryan Merkley answered for Guelph at a midway point.

Bracco's second goal of the game at 4:05  of the third would be insurance for the Rangers. Noah Carrol and Burghardt scored for Guelph three minutes apart in the final frame. Bracco completed his hat trick at 15:42 on the power play and Dylan Seitz also had a power play goal to wrap up the game for Kitchener.

Dawson Carty earned the win with 33 saves. Anthony Popovitch allowed four goals against the Storm on 18 shots before being replaced after the second. Liam Herbst allowed four goals on12 shots in relief.
