Sugar Kings Win Goal Tending Dual

Ethan Skinner struck twice and assisted on three more as the Elmira Sugar Kings topped the Kitchener Dutchmen 7-6. Quinten Bruce also scored twice for the Sugar Kings and Jake Brown added four assists.

The Dutchmen were led by Brandon Grandinetti who scored and had two assists. Gavin Apperson scored and added an assist for Kitchener.

Both teams took advantage of the power play with Elmira going 4-8 and Kitchener going 4-9.

Each team had 33 shots on goal but it was Jonathan Reinhart who came out on top with the extra save.

Elmira is third in the GOJHL's Midwestern Conference with a record of 7-3-1-0.
