Goderich Hydro is not interested in selling to Hydro One, but a potential merger with Erie-Thames Hydro is taking longer than expected.
Board member Robert Cornish says a merger with Erie-Thames is not carved in stone, and there are other potential merger partners.
But Cornish explains they have had a very good working relationship with Erie-Thames over the past eight to ten years and feel that would be a good fit.
Cornish adds they hope to be able to bring a recommendation to Goderich council in the near future.
