Residential home sales in Bruce Grey Owen Sound have smashed a previous October record.
The local realtors' association says 277 units changed hands, which beats the previous record set in 2009 by 24.8%.
It was also a 28% increase over last October.
Last month saw another double digit year over year gain in sales.
So far this year, almost 2,700 units were sold, which is up about 19% from the first ten months in 2015.
2016 has already set a new annual sales record, with two months left to go.
The average price of homes sold in October 2016 was $262,281, up 7.3% on a year-over-year basis.
