Corey Conners recent struggles on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica continue at the VISA Open de Argentina. The Listowel native finished his first round at the Olivos Golf Course in Buenos Aires with a 5-over 76 and is tied for 101st place.
Conners triple-bogeyed the 2nd and 12th holes yesterday and had five bogeys. He also shot four birdies.
Conners missed the cut last weekend at the Argentina Classic.
He has seven top ten finishes on the tour but has now fallen from 3rd on the Order of Merit to 6th.
Daniel Stapff of Brazil is in the lead at the VISA Open de Argentina at 4-under 67.
