The first games in the opening round of the Brokerlink Insurance Grey Bruce Major Curling League are in the books.
First ranked Jeff Thomson topped second ranked Don Bartley 6-2.
Third place Al Hutchinson defeated fourth place Wade Walsh 6-3.
Also last night, Steve Gregg edged Les Shane 7-6 and Mike Hamer defeated Craig Milburn 6-3.
The second game in the Round 1 playoffs is next Wednesday, December 14th in Chesley at 8 p.m.
It will see Thomson face Hutchinson, Bartley take on Walsh, Gregg face Hamer and Shane battle Milburn.
