Maksim (Matt) Sushko of the Owen Sound Attack was named to Team Belrus' selection camp ahead of the 2017 World U20 Hockey Championship Division 1A tournament.
The 17-year-old rookie forward is one of 32 players attending the pre-tournament selection camp in his home country.
Sushko was selected 29th overall in the 2016 CHL Import Draft and has played in 20 games for the Attack - scoring nine goals and earning five assists.
Sushko is no stranger to international competition. He was captain of Team Belarus in the 2016 World Under 18 Championships, earning six points in five games.
The selection camp begins Sunday in Bremerhaven, Germany.
