McNiven Still Vying for Spot on World Junior Roster

Owen Sound  Attack netminder Michael McNiven is still competing for a spot on Canada's World Junior team.

Four players were cut yesterday including London Knight's defensemen Victor Mete.

McNiven is competing against Carter Hart and Connor Ingram both of the WHL.

The 6'1" Georgetown native has a 0.914 save percentage and a 2.41 goals against average. He has 15 wins, seven losses and one shoot out loss so far this season for the Attack.

Today is the final day of the World Junior Selection Camp when officials will whittle down the remaining 27 players to a 22 man roster.
