Spencer Elder struck twice in the second as the Walkerton Hawks edged Mitchell 3-2. Jordan Caskenette had the game winner at 5:09 of the third assisted by Elder.
Derek Elliot did all the scoring for Mitchell, putting them on the board early in the second and tying the game late in the period with a power play goal.
Wyatt Nicholson stopped 27 shots for Mitchell. Ryan Winter earned the win with 21 saves.
