UPDATE: Winter Weather Advisory in Effect

Environment Canada has cancelled a snow squall warning for portions of Huron and Bruce counties.

However, the weather agency has issued a winter weather advisory for the following areas:

  • Goderich - Bluewater - Southern Huron County
  • Wingham - Blyth - Northern Huron County
  • Saugeen Shores - Kincardine - Southern Bruce County
Cloudy skies and flurries are in the forecast, but the probability remains for adverse weather conditions for Sunday night and Monday morning.

Environment Canada says bands of lake effect snow coming off Lake Huron will affect portions of the area this evening with an additional snowfall amount of near 5 cm forecast in many areas.

Untreated roads may become snow covered and slippery.  These snowfall amounts do not reach the criterion for snow squall warnings.
