Santino Centorame scored the game winner late in the second on the power play as the Owen Sound Attack beat Hamilton 5-2 in a rare morning tilt yesterday.
Petrus Palmu added insurance for the Attack at 2:02 of the third. Cordell James padded Owen Sound's lead at 13:55 with a short handed goal assisted by Markus Phillips.
Phillips, Centorame and Palmu each had a goal and an assist in the victory.
Michael Cramarossa and Niki Petti scored for the Bulldogs.
The Attack made the most of the man advantage, going 2 for 2 on the power play.
Michael McNiven earned the win with 29 saves. Kaden Fulcher allowed three goals on 12 shots and was replaced by Dawson Carty in the third who stopped 6 of 8 shots in relief.
