OHL Wrap-Up: McNiven Breaks Franchise Record

Owen Sound 4 Flint 0

Michael McNiven now holds the franchise record for most shut outs in the Attack's 4-0 win over Flint.

McNiven didn't have to work too hard to reach the milestone, facing just 16 shots last night. The 19-year-old Georgetown native now has 11 career shut outs, one more than former Attacker Jordan Binnington.

Cordell James led the Attacks offense with a pair of goals. Petrus Palmu scored and set up two more. Nick Pryce also scored for Owen Sound.

The Attack out shot the Firebirds 35-16 in the win.

Erie 5 London 1

Dylan Strome struck twice and set up another as the Erie Otters topped London 5-1.

Alex DeBrincat scored and had an assist in the win.

The Otters out shot the Knights 31-17.

Sarnia 6 Guelph 2

Adam Ruzicka scored twice for Sarnia to lead the Sting over Guelph 6-2.

The Storm got goals from Dmitri Samorukov and Givani Smith.

Anthony Popovich allowed three goals on 15 shots and was replaced by Liam Herbst in the second. Herbst made 30 saves on 33 shots in relief.
