The Huron East Centenaires rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the first period to beat Milverton 9-8 in overtime and take a 2-0 lead in the WOAA "A" final series.
Huron East scored five times in the second including a natural hat trick by Calvin Penny to take the lead. Penny would score again in the third period and the game winner in overtime.
Reubin Smith forced extra time, scoring the equalizer at 13:16 of the final frame.
The 4 Wheel Drives were led by Dennis Dewar who had a hat trick and set up four of the Drives goals. Brent Freeman struck twice and had three assists for Milverton. Cohen Adair struck twice and set up four goals.
Huron East hosts Game 3 on Friday at 9 p.m.
