South Huron's Chamber of Commerce hosted its second annual Job Fair this week at the Exeter Legion.
Chamber Executive Director Joan Brady says the number of employers at the event indicates there are definitely jobs for the people that want them and the number of people looking for jobs demonstrated a very healthy interest.
Brady says the number of employers was up by eight over last year for a total of 20 and they were hoping to hire about 150 people over the next six months.
There was a good cross-section of full and part-time jobs and they ranged from manufacturing, agriculture, travel tourism, food services, social services and home care and more.
Brady says given the success of the event this year and growth over last year she expects the job fair will become an annual event.
